Review Form


All articles submitted for publication in the edition “Libraries of national Academies of Sciences: problems of functioning, tendencies of development” are subjected to unbiased, objective assessment by peer review. Peer review provides unprejudiced selection of authors manuscripts for publishing in the edition and helps with specific recommendations to correct factographic and other mistakes (is such ones are present), improving author’s style. Procedure of review is called to fulfill the most objective evaluation of article content, defining its relevance to the edition requirements and implies analysis of originality and current importance of submitted materials. Only articles that consider an actual research achievements and innovative practical experience of library activity, and implicate new information of profile studies within the context of  informatization, information technologies and social communication could be accepted for publishing. All submitted materials have to meet the edition technical requirements to articles.

The Editorial Board of the science, practical and theoretical collection of papers  “Libraries of national Academies of Sciences: problems of functioning, tendencies of development ” reserves the right to conduct internal review of submitted articles. External review is fulfilled by independent experts who are profile specialists. Internal and external reviews should be presented in written form according to edition requirements.  Internal and external reviews are signed ones. Reviewers evaluate theoretical and methodological level of article performing, its practical value and scientific originality. Reviewers define article relevance to principles of ethics in scientific publications and give recommendations to improving if need. Authors of submitted articles have the right to choose external reviewers. Articles could be accepted for publication when internal and external reviews are positive. According to author and reviewer desire review could be published along the article.  The Editorial Board of the science, practical and theoretical collection of papers “Libraries of national Academies of Sciences: problems of functioning, development tendencies” does not regard as appropriate to pursue confidentiality since the moral and science standards of professionals in the area of edition is high.
